Green Leaves Burning On the Trees
The phenomenon of "no Fall(ing of leaves) before Winter" may be one of the leaves "burning" (due to wind burn and frost burn) rather than actually changing color due to decreasing production of chlorophyll, which usually reveals the underlying photosynthetic accessory pigments. This, despite the start of solar Winter on Monday. This may be occurring because the leaves' color change may be due to many different factors: day length, temperature, water availability, etc.
