Happy Mom's Day 2006
Happy Mom's Day to all you moms and moms-to-be out there! I gave mom a book called Mothers and Daughters on this special day.
Today, this overcast and rainy morning, was the Susan Komen Breast Cancer walk in Schenley Park. The walk, when first started many years ago, had ~3500 participants. It is estimated that more than ten times that number participated today. Mom and I--though not CA survivors--will wear bright pink today for breast cancer awareness.
William and Marissa will join us later today for "a late lunch"/tea time/"early supper." Lots of delicious items at the buffet....
