Feast of Christ the King 2008, Auntie Mimang's Birthday
Today was the Feast of Christ the King. Despite this fact, and a baptism of a little boy (William James), Fr. Breyer made the Mass short for the Lt. Governor's wake directly after Mass.
After Mass many of us wished a "Happy Thanksgiving," to each other. I saw the choir's international contingent heading for coffee at the corner. Mom and Dad and I had lunch outside and called Auntie Mimang to wish her a "Happy Birthday," replete with singing. After I had a chance to speak with her, I took a well-deserved nap.
I've been napping with greater frequency since the cold weather kicked in.
We'll be babysitting Solomon and Beatrice at their home after dinner tonight.
