Laboratory Meeting, Fall 2009

Today will be our first laboratory meeting of the school year. The beginning of the end of summer...

The meeting went well; the veteran instructors met the new instructors, we all ate together while taking care of paperwork such as the office hours and substitute lists, and we prepared/inoculated the "ill" potatoes for the first lab. I spent the rest of the time in the computer lab printing out my first-day documents.

I stopped in St. Paul Cathedral for a brief respite on the way home, and the mighty von Beckerath was being played. Perhaps it was Joan Lippincott practicing before her concert Thursday (today). Many of the stops were out---the music was mighty, mighty.
