Urban Star Party v 2.0

Last night Nancy C. and I went to the Urban Star Party at the empty Leslie Pool in Lawrenceville. There was dreamy music, storytelling, the amateur astronomy club with their telescopes, and Google demonstrating their star map app(lication). We particularly enjoyed the second story by Alison K. Babusci, who told a story from India about the hare in the moon, reminiscent of Abraham and his son Isaac.

Before engaging in the programs, however, Nancy and I chatted first with Susan, who organized the event, and then with Ray and Helen Faye. We later saw Jo at the snacks table, and then Charles by the music. We had great fun and ended the evening with ice cream cone and sundae in Oakland.
