Thanksgiving 2011 chez William and Marissa

Thanksgiving day started with baking preparations the night before after fish dinner at William and Marissa's Wednesday night. Marissa had baked cranberry crisp, and the children and I made pumpkin pie squares.

This year was the first year that our family had used a baking (plastic) bag in which to roast the turkey. Marissa and her dad had prepared the bird after rubbing it with flour and putting an onion and celery stalks in the bag with it.
