Lectoring, Boilermaker's Jazz Band, Nikos's Birthday, and Back to Choir
Friday I lectored a morning Mass, with Fr. Mike R celebrating, John De serving, and Don providing music ministry from the loft. Approximately 33 members of the congregation received Communion.
Saturday I went in Kevin's car with Joya and June to Nikos's birthday celebration with the Boilermaker's Jazz Band. I saw Nancy and Marlin there: Nancy's son is in the band. I met Michelle, a budding physicist, as well as Philip and Ben, friends of Kevin, too.
It was back to choir today as well.
Maureen and I went for a Trader Joe's run, some window-shopping in Shadyside, and hot cocoa and donuts (crispy!) chez Maureen.
