Faberge at the Frick
Yesterday after work Maureen and I went shopping in Shadyside. I got a warm hat and warm pants. We had a great soup (tomato and red pepper, with quinoa) and salad combo (spring greens with pear, candied pecan, and champagne pear dressing) with toast. I saw her recent purchases from Bakery Square, too.
This afternoon Mom and I went to the Frick Art Museum for the last weekend of the Faberge exhibit. There was only one oviform stone sculpture, and no enameled eggs. Mom had a tough go at viewing the objets d'art. Afterwards, we stopped by Marissa's with the children and enjoyed a tea party with crackers and Cherie's famous dip, and cat cookies (for people, NOT for cats). Then we played a game of children's Scrabble. Quite fun.
