Dinner chez William's family

Yesterday Marissa and the children picked me up for dinner at their home. William was already there, preparing rice. We started to play a board game about an island, then had dinner of salmon, starches, broccoli, and mixed yogurt with fresh raspberries. A concertina of etudes on the piano by Beatrice (aided by Marissa, as beatmistress) ensued. We finished the game---our team saved the elements!---and then watched part of Snow White on DVD on the computer (up to the point of the dwarves meeting Snow White). Then it was time for everyone to get ready for bed, so Marissa drove me home for an early bedtime for me.

I awoke after midnight and did not get back to sleep until after 4.00am. Did some 2D art studies, took photos of them, looked for my travel eyedrops, looked for my travel ID, etc. Awoke again after 7.00, and have been sending communiques to my students since then.

Maureen and I will go for a walk this morning, passing by the ...Little Donuts shop.
