Saturday, Mother's Day Shopping
Saturday Mom and I went to the Waterfront for some Mom's Day shopping. We stopped in Macy's to get some small home appliances (to fry up lumpia) and jewelry, and at Costco for groceries. Saw Stephanie W and her family there, it was so nice to see her after about six years. She is at a large multinational firm in the South Hills now, after she left from my current work place. She met Mom, and I had a chance to meet her folks.
We went to the anticipated Mass Saturday night, as I would be missing choir Sunday for Beatrice's piano recital.
Dad fried up some tapa and plantains for our dinner Saturday night, whilst Mom and I prepared the fixings.
