Monday- Stuck in the Elevator, Tuesday, Wednesday
Monday night I got stuck in the elevator on the way to Mom and Dad's yesterday evening for dinner.
Tuesday Maureen and I chatted around the breakfast table in the evening about serious issues affecting our families. She and I also had beauty hints. I met with some students and I also got some grading completed.
Today I visited with some friends in Oakland, my shoe buckle broke, and I took the bus home, but the elevator was down. People were milling about the lobby. I borrowed some shoes, finished grading all the notebooks for all my sections, took care of some administrative matters, and spoke with Elia. There were a gaggle of us around the department grading. Quite festive and focused, at once.
