Cultivating
The past two days the Gospel reading during Mass referred to seeds landing in various types of soil (Matthew). Fr. Drew spoke yesterday about various religions and how Vatican II has invited Catholics to embrace the similarities between Catholicism and other religions. Today, Fr. Dennis spoke about the "cultivation of [one's] soul[s]" as one would cultivate a garden. I enjoyed both homilies delivered by them.
The readings reflect the quote from Voltaire, Il faut necessaire cultiver votre jardin, from an earlier post.
