Irish Ceili Dancing
I returned to Irish ceili dance this evening. It was fun to see my friends from when I used to dance every Tuesday evening. I danced the Gay Gordon, High Cauled Cap, Sweets of May (one of my favorites, which Rachel and I taught to Newman Center students one year at my Labor Day picnic), and the Fairy Reel. One of my favorite dances is the Waves of Tory, which is an Irish version of the American Virginia Reel.
