Waiting at the Airport, May 2008
I cleaned up yesterday, prepared my paintings for storage, did some organizing of my encyclopedia article, caught up on correspondence, and napped deeply!
I met Mom and Dad at the airport at about 10pm---waited next to the Lallys, who were waiting for Michelle's return from the continent and Dublin. We chatted about travelling, cell phones, and my imminent surgery.
Mom and Dad were glad to be back from Las Vegas, and glad to see me bearing fresh fruit. Dad was chatty, and mom was fighting a cold, caught at the casinos' air-conditioned and smoke-laden air.
