Grandma's Memorial Mass 2008
This morning Mom, Dad, and I braved city repairs on Craig Street to go to Grandma's Memorial Mass. Fr. Donald Breier celebrated, John was the altar server, Ed S. lectored, and Don provided music ministry. Fr. Breier talked about how Jesus provides us with the grace to deal with our bad habits, like the leper in the reading ("Heal me Lord.") The Mass was for St. Cyril of Alexandria. How fitting that a reasonable scholar and doctor of the Church from Alexandria was the Saint for Grandma's Mass.
It drizzled/rained on our way home, and Dad is waiting to use the computer now, so I now defer.
