I tried to meet Fabiola and Jose at the Newman Center---Joey, a university student, offered to drive us to the dinner and talk at Carnegie Mellon University by Fr. David Abernathy, "Solitude and Silence in the Spiritual Life." The talk was preceded by dinner and a period of silent prayer.

Terese, Kirsten, and I walked down Forbes Avenue together in the below-freezing temperatures after the talk.
