Discharged....
I've officially been discharged from the nursing component of the post-operative monitoring. My nurse, Jill, indicated that nursing is present mostly to monitor my incision and my general systems, too. Since I am relatively younger and healthy, and my incision is healing nicely (no discharge, etc.), I get discharged from nursing.
Margie, my home physical therapist, will see me right until the day before my post-operative appointment with the surgeon. I have been progressing quite well. The strength is coming back to my legs, I feel more confident about doing more repetitions.
