About those Threats...

Students have been talking on campus about the bomb threats these past two weeks on campus. They're all walking on eggshells. One student who spent Wednesday night at the sister of a classmates's house off-campus said that as she took the bus into campus that as soon as it arrived in Oakland that she saw groups of students clutching their pillows walking back to campus. Two separate groups of students have told me that students and parents have contacted the Dean's office with requests to close the campus early this year.

The threats were for single buildings, such as the Cathedral of Learning and Chevron, at first a couple of weeks ago. The past few threats mid this week have been for 3-5 buildings at a go.

Students have mentioned that threats have been sent via email to reporters Downtown. The emails are difficult to trace because of the nature of the routing before reaching their final destination.

My hope is that:
NOTHING happens
and that
they learn how to trace emails better from these threats.

The University of Pittsburgh Police, Pittsburgh Police (with the K-9 force), and the FBI are on these threats. I hope they crack this case soon.
