Last Classroom Teaching Day, Spring 2012

Today was my last day this semester teaching in a classroom. It was a relief.

Before teaching I had a couple hours of office hours (during which I met S, the security detail at the main entrance), where Jess and I chatted about our summers.

There were two surveys of the class to be administered, a quiz, then the actual lesson. Even yet, we were dismissed early today/ this week.

Tomorrow is learning about the computer administration of the exams to our classes.

My friend Nancy told me about the newest threats to her campus, Community College of Allegheny County, which were made generally for those campuses Thursday or Friday. There have been threats made, according to a colleague, to Point Park University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
