Beatrice's Birthday, Mary Poppins
For Beatrice's birthday last Tuesday (exactly a week ago), her brother, mom and dad, and both sets of grandparents and I went to opening night for the touring company of Mary Poppins at Benedum Hall downtown. I took the bus downtown to meet everyone.
The women in the group discussed at intermission the lack of the Suffragette presence in the first act, as well as no laughing scene with grandpa on the ceiling.
Mom sat next to BeaBea for both acts, and was impressed by her rapt attentive self throughout the whole show.
