Hurricane Sandy Hits Sesame Street
The folks at Children's Television Workshop (affiliated with PBS in New York City), who produce Sesame Street, have created a stand-alone episode on hurricanes:

It is so nice to see Susan and Gordon, Luiz, Maria, Bob, and some new people, too. Mr. Hooper's presence is felt at the local grocery store run by Allen, named Hooper's. Old MacDonald's chickens and sheep go gaga pre-hurricane, and Kermit the Frog and Al Roker are reporter and weatherperson, respectively.
