Pittsburgh's BiCentennial Parade, Take It Easy Day, Watching the News on Television and via Internet
Today was the day for Pittsburgh's BiCentennial Parade. Mom and her apos were invited to ride on a float by her medical society colleagues. They declined, as we have out-of-state company.
I rested me and my leg most of today, and started repair on Mom's charm bracelet and on her necklace. I watched the news of the parade on the Internet and on television. Looks like Franco Harris met some of the Filipino community floaters!
I helped to prepare dinner of mussels, rice, green salad, paksiw na lechon, and dark cherries. Acted as sous chef for the food for tomorrow.
