MAM departs...Aug 2018

MON 06 AUG 2018- Worked the morning. Spent the afternoon with Mom, Dad, and MAM.
TUE 07 AUG 2018-Day off from work. SPent the day with Mom, Dad, and MAM until her departure. Took her to PIT. My parting words for her were, "Remember what [advice] we all told you, and...Have Fun!"
WED 08 AUG 2018- Ran into Mary S on the bus to downtown. Ran an errand for busses on Smithfield St. Worked a good portion of the day at NRP/ work today.
THU 09 AUG 2018-Worked to early afternoon. Picked up. Met up with Sha'.
Went to see Crazy Rich Asians' Warner Brothers preview this time. Movie still hasn't opened. I was one of 8 obviously Asian faces in the audience: (100+). All Asian faces were female faces.
FRI 10 AUG 2018- Had phone talks this AM, including with Antonio @ HR. Appointment this afternoon in Oakland.
SAT 11 AUG 2018- Caught a ride with Judi to Carl and Monica's Ruby Wedding Anniversary Celebration. Sat at the SPC/ Cathedral Choir table with Don, Bettina, Doug, Judi, Karen, Natalie, and Janna. Bettina was our fearless spokesperson who expressed our deep gratitude and honor for being invited to a family event. Dinner was delicious, conversation was lovely, and it was great to hear live music (some original) performed by various family members. We all had a view of the cake cutting (with the topper from 40 years ago), as well as our fill of funny stories and jokes.
SUN 12 AUG 2018-Dad served as Eucharistic minister @ noon Mass. Mom and I went to 4 PM Mass.
MON 13 AUG 2018-Worked @ NRP today.
TUE 14 AUG 2018-Webinar through UCR with alumni, hosted by Jim Patterson, "Working with a Recruiter."
WED 15 AUG 2018-Worked @ NRP office. Went to Solemnity of the Assumption Mass @ 5.15PM.
THU 16 AUG 2018-Workshop, "Applying for Government Jobs" Downtown.
FRI 17 AUG 2018- Bought jackfruit/ langka at the Strip District in the midst of pouring rain. Also got brown sugar in Bloomfield right before noon, which is when the Little Italy Days started each day on Liberty Avenue.  Dinner @ TIta & Tito L's new home with Dr. P & Dr. R, Mom, Dad, Elma, and I. We spent a lovely time chatting over dinner and after dinner.
SAT 18 AUG 2018-SUPER Saturday= CATurday at the Museum today! I hosted a Leopard spotlight (157:2) near a Scavenger Hunt table. Visitors from the tri-state area, NY, VA, IN, MN, WA, and Colombia, South America. Great fun. Jules was lead docent; Jess stopped by... Spaghetti for dinner (with salad).
SUN 19 AUG 2018- Went to PM Mass @ the Oratory- Newman Center. Attended my building picnic.
MON 20 AUG 2018- NRP Full day at work. EAS arrive today chez M and D.
TUE 21 AUG 2018- Take care of health issues.Went w Debbie to rolled ice cream.
WED 22 AUG 2018- NRP : Full day at work.
THU 23 AUG 2018- no ShM
FRI 24 AUG 2018- Haircut by Libby, go with Mom to grocery shop in Aspinwall/ S'burg, East Liberty, and Oakland. Boy, was I tired out!
SAT 25 AUG 2018- Rest day for my bones. Spoke with JAH today.
SUN 26 AUG 2018- Saint Paul Cathedral picnic after the noon Mass.
Cathedral music was provided at the altar by Christina Mc.

Dad, Mom, and I sat with the Tantocos, Sarah R formerly of choir and currently of lectoring, Perrin H, and a motley crew of a couple of their friends.

MON 27 AUG 2018- NRP-Half day; I learned that EAS is no longer at M,D's; Maureen and I went to Gandy Dancer for dinner. Crab mac & cheese, quesadilla, tempura shrimp, and the chocolate lava cake for dessert.
TUE 28 AUG 2018- Appts in Bloomfield, (stop in EEG). stop @ grocery snack & appts in Wexford, quick stop in MAM's fave shop on McKnight, a quick visit to JCP.
WED 29 AUG 2018- An appt with MB in AM in Oakland, Bag lunch on a bench in Oakland (chatted with Nancy K about flower reflectances). Worked at NRP for half a day.
THU 30 AUG 2018- I have three active apps--CL, to which apped this week, UP (interview coming up), and CU (app today). No ShM.
FRI 31 AUG 2018-Hair Styling by Iesha. Very nice. M, (WA, BF) preparing to visit Marietta.
