THU 01 MARCH 2018- Choir rehearsal

FRI 02 MARCH 2018- Morning had a meeting with Lisa K.
At noon Mom, Dad, William, and I went to Ray R's visitation. I spotted Amy (whom I greeted), and Susan there (with whom we chatted). I had sent emails to the family as soon as I knew---such a robust man as we were growing up, and such a sweet fellow to the end. He will be dearly missed. We were all very saddened by his passing.
In the evening there was a Spring Fling event at CMNH-- Nancy and I shared the Lion Attacking the Dromedary spot, which ...

SAT 03 MARCH 2018-   ...was my spot the afternoon of Saturday, too.
W & MM & BB & S came over for dinner (pasta) and Deluxe Clue, which S played so reluctantly, but handily won! B read whilst we played.

SUN 04 MARCH 2018- Lector (2, Year B) with DEborah Davis.

TUE 06 MARCH 2018- met with Deanna chez M. Had two appointments in Oakland this day. No bus to the hill, as it was Spring Break!

WED 07 MARCH 2018- Bible Study, and then I drove in the cold up the hill to meet with the pain students.

THU 08 MARCH 2018- Drove Mom to the Dentist's office near the bakery.  No Choir Practice tonight.

FRI 09 MARCH 2018- Call Verizon about the Cu to Fiber Optic transition.

SAT 10 MARCH 2018- Meet J, CMNH- Carnegie Boat (159:2.5). CLocks SPRING ahead overnight.

SUN 11 MARCH 2018- Lector 1, year B. with Perrin Haft.
Evening meeting of PAPAGP, travelled there with Tito Ollie.

MON 12 MARCH 2018- Seminar Downtown presented by Steve C. There was a notice in our elevators and mailroom to "ignore" the notices mailed to us from Verizon re: the copper wire to FiOs conversion. So I cancelled my appointment for tomorrow with Verizon.

TUE 13 MARCH 2018- Had Debbie over for dinner; we rearranged the artwork in the dining and living areas.

WED 14 MARCH 2018- Bible Study attended. Picked up an envelop in Oakland. Attended a BC Virtual Career Fair online.

THU 15 MARCH 2018- Had an appt this morning--no show. Did laundry chez Darks and Brights. Doctor's appointment late this morning with Dr. U.

FRI 16 MARCH 2018-Went to PAWW, had a bank interview there.

SAT 17 MARCH 2018- Saint Padraig's Day! Spotlighted the CMNH Camel: Lion Attacking a dromedary, in the CMNH lobby. 12-2:30, 268:2.5 (Edited 18 NOV 2020, with notes and schedules.)

Registered for the Diversity VIrtual Career Fair (BC).

SUN 18 MARCH 2018- Fifth Sunday of Lent. M and D and I celebrated at the Cathedral.

MON 19 MARCH 2018- PA CareerLink chez CLP Downtown...Arlette provided lots of assistance and help. Met J chez Oakland. D and M met this afternoon.

TUE 20 MARCH 2018- CMNH Docent meeting, Met with a friend in Oakland today, and saw Pittsburgh Opera's production of Moby Dick with Debbie at the Benedum.

WED 21 MARCH 2018- Early this afternoon I met Arlette chez CLP Downtown.

THU 22 MARCH 2018- Had an appt this morning--no show (again). Went to JCroyle for an interview, assessments, and paperwork. Went to PAWW for a new interview with another bank, a university, and UPMC.

FRI 23 MARCH 2018- Went to CLP/ CDC Job Fair. Went Downtown to Express for an interview, etc. Picked up Choir Easter Candy, thanks to Don.

SAT 24 MARCH 2018- CMNH Sennedjem's Tomb. Lots of local and PA visitors, Detroit, MI, NM NB, Atlanta, GA, Mississippi, Chattanooga, TN, lots of U PITT and students. (265: 2.5)

SUN 25 MARCH 2018- Palm Sunday! M and D and I sat near Sarah R and Aisha. Made crosses for them.

MON 26 MARCH 2018- Call Verizon about residential line conversion.

TUE 27 MARCH 2018- Met Arlette from PA CareerLink @ CLP DOwntown. Evening Webinar online.

WED 28 MARCH 2018- Yearly medical exams--3 of 3 years in a study.
CMNH- PA reptiles on the overlook (with eggs). Lots of school groups (from OH and WV). Additional visitors from as far away as Russia, Canada, Colombia, VA, DC, WI. (259: 2.5, noon+)

THU 29 MARCH 2018- Went to the P-Gazette Job Fair at DUQ U. Sang Holy THursday Mandatum Mass. Showed up an hour before the 7PM Mass. See additional post for Holy THursday.

FRI 30 MARCH 2018- Went to Pancoast for an interview and paperwork. Watched Good Friday service with Mom on Channel 95, Christian Associates, Saint Paul Cathedral Television Ministry.

SAT 31 MARCH 2018- Dad drove me downtown to run an errand.

Two hours at the dino Titanosaur egg at the Apatosaurus (with three dino egg touchables). (230: 2.0)
Two hours at the PA reptiles overlook- snakes, turtles (with a tortoise touchable). (366: 2.0)
S chez, until I met M and D and Wa for dinner at Lucca's.
