Dining chez Beatrice and Solomon
After a nap yesterday afternoon, Mom, Dad, and I had dinner at William, Marissa, Beatrice, and Solomon's home. Dinner was
Spinach salad with cherries, slivered toasted almonds, and grape tomatoes
cheddar spinach pasta
rice
marinated salmon
corn on the cob
juices and sparkling apple-peach juice
homemade chocolate (carob) cake a la mode
with small raspberry-filled doughnuts drizzled with chocolate
all prepared by Marissa.
We were treated to the antics of the kids--Solomon's calmer demeanor while awake, his tracking us, and his "talking" to us; Beatrice's showing us her running and slow moves, her desire to read about half a dozen books after dinner, her fairness in reminding us of Solomon/"Yaamin" when she is offered something.
A fun evening by all.
