Monday- Regular Dental Appointment, Making Jewelry (sans Nancy)
This Monday I had my regular cleaning and check-up at the dentist's office. Later in the afternoon I went to a jewelry-making class with my favorite instructor. Nancy could not make it, but I made a set (necklace with pendant, earrings, ring with dangles, and I will eventually remake the bracelet which was antique Czech glass that inspired my Sea and Shore set) of jewelry. This bracelet was from the semi-annual fundraiser for the Evelyn H. Wei Memorial Scholarship Award in Epidemiology. I also fashioned a "Pandora"-style set of beads into a bracelet. The beads were from a shop in Heidelberg, Germany, and I am pleased with the outcome of these sets. I also repaired a wooden chain necklace I had gotten in Florida.
