Grading Grading Grading in this Wintry World
Grading (almost finishing the Genetics quizzes, and finishing half of all of the Molecular Biology quizzes). As the snow falls in first large clumps of flakes, numerous windswept flakes, and then stops to allow one to shake and stomp as you enter a building. I took one grading break this afternoon to do some candy fundraising for the choir, followed by watching with Mom and Dad a great movie (two Academy Awards, one for best picture, one for best actor), The Pianist.

Very educational, as Mom expressed the differences between the movie and how her family hid in war-torn Manila and environs during World War II. There were similarities between the two Axis powers, as well. The movie depicted behavior in urban areas in Warsaw, Poland. Very different from Dad's experiences during the war in the boondocks of the Visayas.
We had dinner of longanisa, shrimp and spinach ramen soup, and rice. We watched Jeopardy!, and I'm tired after a long 15-hour day. Time to sleep, and sing tomorrow at church.
