Sunday- Trinity Sunday and Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra with Isabel's family

Choir was directed and accompanied by Don this Sunday (in Ken's absence today).  It was Trinity Sunday, and these were the musical pieces from the loft:

The evening was spent at the Legacy Gala of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, with Isabel's family. We found street parking and ambled into the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.  We spotted our neighbor, Nancy C-M, as well as a fellow parishioner, Cecile S, there.  Isabel's sister, Mom, and Dad, and her ninang (with her ninang's sister) were present with us.  We enjoyed hors d'oeuvres in the presence of Hannah P, harpist.  Dinner was one of three choices (I had the salmon).  As we perused the auction items, dinner music was provided by two quartets.  After dessert, there was a performance of 
L'Arlesienne by G. Bizet (all four movements)
Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony (the closing movement)

Tonight was the director's last performance with PYSO.  After closing silent auction bidding, there was a slide show tribute to Lawrence Loh, the director.  This was followed by a live auction led by S. Hostetter, and a final selection performed by the PYSO,

Worked with Mom on a family letter to the clan.  Helped Dad to send it out.
