We had clearance...
Mom and I had obtained clearance and had tickets set aside for us to attend the Sunday Mass with Pope Francis. We chose, however, not to attend for various reasons:
logistics,
and Papa Francisco asks us to save [our time and money] and give to the poor,
are among our reasons.
