MONDAY- Splint off! Air Cast. Kung Fu Panda 2
Yesterday (Monday) Dad drove me for my first post-op appointment. The office was really busy that day. Dana, the nurse, updated my allergies list, and medications list, and removed my splint. Sharon, the administrative assistant, spoke about an assistive device with Dad and me. PA Steve spoke to us about the general timeline...and upon our insistence, had Dr. Mac inspect the sutures before he redressed the incisions. Sutures stay in until next visit. I change the dressing every day. I exercise the joint three times per day. I wear an air cast the rest of the time. As before, the joint is elevated as much as possible.
Just changed my dressing--it looks good!
Last night (Monday) I watched Kung Fu Panda 2. Lots of celebrities for voices.
