Holy Week 2020- TUE 07 APR 2020

Woke up early to do 2 loads of laundry (slowly). Got a singing telegram phone call from D and M midway through laundry. Headed over for a delicious meal of linguine in clam sauce with garlic toast. Enjoyed a dessert of banana bread (which I had baked earlier) and a gift from S Klein on 14th Street in NYC. I prepared chocolate chip cookie dough for toll house Ghiradelli bittersweet chocolate chip cookies, baked 3 dozen cookies, wrapped some for MM's family, and picked up a delivery of Samoa Girl Scout cookies and a package of respirators from MM's fam! M put some in a cookie jar, and I refrigerated some of the dough, and will bring it home.
Caught up with my phone and email messages. Generally relaxed before watching the news. Dinner is soon!
Made my way home and sent messages of illumination/applause to friends who are in the medical field. First nights for this are the 7th and 14th of April in Pittsburgh. This has happened in Italy and in Belgium and in New York.
Got a call from BF and MM; also to inform me about the cookies and medical gift.
k and K called to sing and to chat.
Overall, a great day. High was about 62 Fahrenheit.
