Philippine Consul General; Philippine Nationality Room Committee Meeting
Last night I had a chance to meet the Philippine Consul General and two from her office, Carissa and Larry. They visited at Mom and Dad's home and I shared with Carissa my poem for the Philippine Nationality Room classroom. She has recently published a book, Surreality, about the adventures of a young person in New York City.
We went to Dr. Pat's home, who hosted a lovely home-cooked dinner buffet for the Philippine Nationality Room committee; and included the visitors from NYC and Maxine Bruhns, Directrice of the Nationality Room Classrooms at the University of Pittsburgh. Warren shared the architectural boards with us, and a lively discussion ensued. Departing at ~10 in the evening after many Filipino goodbye's, we found our way home to Pittsburgh.
