Newman Center on Saturday March 2008
Yesterday evening at the Newman Center Karina led a multimedia group discussion of the physical implications of Christ's death, with a JAMA medical article, DVD/video, and discussion. I sat in on part of it, and also read in the library The Photo Album of St. Therese of Lisieux, as well as other texts. Ten of us prayed a Novena, and Maureen, Jeff, Karina and I went to dinner at the Thai restaurant in Bloomfield. It was delicious and the conversation was warm. We ventured back out into the swirling, dry snow that delighted us whilst it lay over treacherous patches of iced footprints on the sidewalk and over wet slush in the street.
