Visiting Priest, Chinese Buffet
Today at noon Mass, Ken and Lisa's friend Mnsgr. Jeffrey said the Mass. The Gospel reading was from Matthew 13:1-23. He also quoted at length during the homily from a poem about how a duck is like one's soul. At the end of the Mass he announced that he felt lucky to be able to celebrate the Mass with us and that he is a guest of Ken and Lisa. I said "hi" to E. and L. after Mass, and heard E's story of birth and baptism. Lisa introduced me as an alto to Mnsgr. Jeffrey from the Raleigh area. It was pleasant to chat with him and with my friends after Mass.
Mom, Dad, and I went to a Chinese buffet for lunch, and ran into some FAAP friends. We exchanged contact information and as we said goodbye, vowed to see them at the next event.
