Jurassic Park!
Last night, Aurora kindly gave me a ride to the Flagstaff Hill movie. We found June and her friends, and Regina joined us afterwards. The movie started at dusk, and they screened Jurassic Park, which was enjoyable for me, especially since we sat a way back from the screen. It would have been creepier if we sat really really close!
Aurora had brought grapes (seedless) and cupcakes.

Today I read up to (not including) chapter 13 in Oryx and Crake. Marissa and the kids came to Lolo and Lola's for lunch. We had pork chops, squash and shrimp soup, macaroni and cheese, grape tomatoes, carrots, rice, and "something red" (as Lolo stated), "and green on the outside," as Beatrice added, "correctly," as indicated by Lolo.
Story time ensued, Marissa got her caffeine fix, I caught up on verbal and electronic correspondence.
The two children watched the rainbow episode of Dora the Explorer, in which they sing the song "De Colores," which Dad recognized from their marriage retreat.
Marissa gave me a lift to the pharmacy, where I need to go tomorrow again.
Field trip with the children scheduled for tomorrow (tentatively).
