It. Is. Cold...and only getting colder (!)

Just recently this morning, I spent about 45-50 minutes walking to the public library and back to return a DVD.  My reasoning was, that I wanted to return it before the due date (Wednesday), which will be ONE FRIGID DAY in Pittsburgh.  Tomorrow, as well, will have single-digit temps.  So I braved the warmth of the mid-20s Fahrenheit as the temperatures were dropping (according to WQED radio this morning).  I went past Heinz Chapel, and returned the same way.  Two of my toes were numb by the time I made it back to the Mellon Institute.  I bathed them in warm water upon my return. That wind was very bitter...I warned a neighbor of the cold.

EEEEK!

It will only get worse the next two days.
