Walking and Reading..and Reading and Walking

Yesterday was unusually warm and sunny.  Students were out in full force, studying for finals and catching some rays in the Oakland sunshine.  I walked to the Carnegie Public Library today, sat for a while and read my book, On Heaven and Earth, and then walked to the Frick Fine Arts building, checked out the (Afghani) menu at the Conflict Kitchen, and read a while longer at the tent on Schenley Plaza.  I walked back to Mom and Dad's and we had dinner and enjoyed Jeopardy! and Dancing with the Stars, during which Drew and Cheryl left at the end of the evening.
