CHOIReland
Last night was MY first practice for the choral tour of Ireland by the St. Paul Cathedral Choir (a.k.a CHOIReland in my e-mail folder). It was great fun, held in the Cathedral, as Race and Reconciliation met in Synod Hall. We practiced some old standbys as well as a couple of traditional American spiritual songs new to us. After, we went to Kelly M's mom's porch for snacks, where we celebrated Doug's birthday with CAKE! Her mom hosted a tour for Linda and I. They live in a beautiful heritage heirloom home. Ornella, Linda, and I headed out into the clear, breezy night together.
