Catholic Underground, April 2010
Fr. Kim had mentioned Catholic Underground to me before I lectored at Mass a couple of times ago. I had been to it when it was at another locale, and said I would bring my friends with me. I drove last night, carpooling with Christina, Karina, and Maureen. Karina gave me a beautiful brooch for my birthday gift.
We saw Fr. Kim as we headed for the worship.
The evening consisted of
Praise and Worship music (live) provided by Molly and her friends, accompanied by the congregation. This included:
Eucharistic Adoration
Evening Prayer
We retired to the social hall, where we heard a great Capuchin Franciscan band
The night consisted of chatting with other attendees over refreshments, and ended with
Benediction
Night Prayer
We left later and more energized.
