Friday, Saturday- Blue Moon, awoke early (Again)

Friday early morning there were Sun and Moon  up at the same time, one rising and one setting.  After a walk on the beach, and after Mom and I did some laundry, Mom and I went out and about, I got a little necklace-earring set.  Also went into Newport (we got lost going to Swansboro for lunch at the BBQ truck), and ended up at the Yeti Ice for hamburger and hot dog and each received a free shaved ice (prepared with Culligan filtered water).

Friday dinner we all had kare kare and the sheepshead fillets steamed in black bean garlic sauce and ginger and scallions.  Om Nom!  Friday night there were lightning storms off the coast.

Saturday was a relaxing day, laundry and packing and the kids (we) watched "There's Something About Mary" (very weird, making light of stalkers!), played "Name that Commercial" on Bravo station, then played Ticket to Ride, and we had dinner for a final night at Barbara and David's place.  Most everyone had left, except Morgan and Elsa, and the girl twin contingent from the West Coast had missed their flight out of Raleigh, and was pulling in the drive as we arrived.
