the Green (deciduous) Tree
When I rode the bus to the South Side this afternoon, I saw on the north side of the Cathedral of Learning "the" green (deciduous) tree that has decided to stay green through the cold up to this point in winter.
I do not know if it is due to warm soil below, but it is gaily adorned amidst its kindred (deciduous) trees that have gone leafless.
