Earthquake hits Virginia
Mom and I were eating just before 14.00 this afternoon when we experienced an earthquake. We saw the lightbulbs swaying in their fixtures. I headed for a door jamb. It lasted less than a minute.
The earthquake was a 5.9 quake centered in Mineral, VA. Pat indicated that it was from DC (about 50 miles from DC).
