Last week of May, First week of June 2017

Monday was a slow day, as it was Memorial Day. Initially was planning to deliver Girl Scout cookies with B, but all the GS cookies were gone!
Took a nice afternoon nap. Tossed out a bunch of clothes and shoes, books. One dress still had the tags on it. Spoke w JAH and Maureen about clearing out and organizing. Maureen recommended setting a timer to fill a bag with items, and to be ruthless about it.

TUE 30 May 2017- Lectored at Mass, it is TUES in the 7th week of Easter. Fr. Adam Verona celebrated the Mass. Amanda  Plazek provided music ministry from the loft. We sang "Jesus Promises Communion" for the entrance hymn, and "The Church's One Foundation," as the recessional hymn. The Mass was celebrated for two women, and 31 people in the congregation received Holy Communion.

5 docents waited for our out-of-state school group, which never responded and never showed. I made my way up to Botany Hall to prepare for this weekend's Spotlight, and suggested a toddler and family visit Base Camp (a playground!) and gave directions to a visitor from Nashville to the "Power of Poison" exhibit.

I'll nap after a light lunch, and will clear out and organize more items at home.

WED 31 MAY 2017- Took care of some administrative questions before and after work today. Had a tour soon after the museum opened for 4th graders who were an absolute delight! They participated well and listened to my questions as well as to each other. They had a tour of Dinosaur Hall and part of Benedum Hall.
A half hour after that group tour ended, I had two 45-minute tours with 1st graders on an extended Dinosaur Dig and Tour. There were a total of four subgroups, and Diane lead the other two groups. They all ended up at the travelling exhibit, "The Power of Poison."
Cleared up at M&D's; ran the dishwasher. Need to replace the lemon juice.

Prepare my home for a visitor this weekend. GI distress of Dad, I went to the drug store to get Gatorade and supplies (which I forgot about...)

FRI 2 JUNE 2017- Two tours of Egypt leading groups of 6th graders (rising 7th graders) today. After a lunch of salad with Mom and Dad, Maureen came for a visit (for a funeral), freshened up, then left for the visitation of her former principal.
