FRI 01 NOV 2019 to SAT 30 NOV 2019
FRI 01 NOV 2019- Went to water exercise. Had lunch of a turkey club sandwich. Worked on glazing bisqueware. Went to Mass for All Soul's Day.
SAT 02 NOV 2019- Went with M and D (met MM, WA, and SC) to see BF in the musical play: Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, Jr. BF portrayed the character of Mrs. Beauregard, and the interplay between the gum-cracking Violet Beauregard (EM) and her mother was priceless. BF portrayed Mrs. Beauregard as a helicopter parent, as most of the parents in the play were. I told WA that I greatly enjoyed this production, and that the chemistry between the actors was priceless. M, D, WA, MM, SC, and I went for burgers afterward.
SUN 03 NOV 2019- Daylight savings time ended early this morning.
Arrived well before noon Mass to find that the Sacristan, Ted W, indicated that lectors were not needed, due to the Firemen (including a 105+-year-old veteran fireman reading the first reading) reading the two readings. So I sat with D in the pew behind the reserved section.
MON 04 NOV 2019- Still observed. Water exercises (~1.5 hours), visit after dinner. Did not attend as'ble meeting this evening.
TUE 05 NOV 2019- Attended early afternoon work lecture on discrimination and workplace behavior policies. Said hi to AH after the meeting; will see her next week.
Procedure for new item, went fine. Time to send news out.
Election Day!
WED 06 NOV 2019- Bible Study with Fr. Mike; Bros Joel, Mark, and Leo; and 11 of us secular Oratorians. Tnshia with trainee. M chez M and D.
THU 07 NOV 2019- Early morning physical therapy with TD. Back to assist chez M and D to help with bathing, dressing, making lunch, submitting two insurance claims, and dressing after the procedure. Also caught up with electronic correspondences. Choir practice after.
FRI 08 NOV 2019- Went to morning water exercise class, turkey bacon club sandwich for lunch, then worked on glazing a plaque.
SAT 09 NOV 2019- Invited my friend, Nancy, to our mini-event next week.
Went shopping in Bloomfield. D and I went to 16.00 Mass, celebrated by Fr Steven Lowery, with Bro Leo serving. Went grocery shopping and inquired about keys in Friendship/ Shadyside. Dinner of peanut butter and banana sandwich laced with butter with a cup of lowfat milk.
H looked at my refrigerator...
SUN 10 NOV 2019- Tita Tina and Dr Pat came by, bearing hot food, to have a potluck lunch at D and M. We had a relaxing lunch, replete with soup and various desserts.
MON 11 NOV 2019- R looked at my refrigerator, nothing major (whew!)
John Ch and Regina C gave me a ride to the Museum, where we visited Dinosaurs in their Time exhibit hall and met up with Chr'a and G. At 11.00 we visited Amy H at her work; she showed us various fossilized bones, as well as fossils of frogs from her masters research. We visited North American Animals and African Wildlife exhibits, then joined A and P for lunch in Fossil Fuels Cafe. Spotted and chatted with Pat H and with Jess R while going through the gift shop and through the museum. The evening was 50 degrees Fahrenheit!
TUE 12 NOV 2019- Decided against a haircut this morning. Went grocery shopping in Friendship/ Shadyside this morning. M had visitors this afternoon, after we had delicious apple pie (apfel kuechen!) This morning was 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit, What a change from 50 degrees yesterday!

Lector's meeting: Icy sidewalks on the way there, approximately one third of the people who are usually present, due to the cold and ice.
WED 13 NOV 2019- Bitter cold today with Bible Study. D almost forgot coat there.
Tnsha and Mrcl stopped by; did floors by the ref. No haircut today.
Off to an appointment this afternoon...physical therapy with TD.
THU 14 NOV 2019- Went with M and D uptown office to M's appointment. Greeted and chatted with H from CLP Bookmobile. We reminisced and caught up with where everyone is now. She promised to pass on my greetings to everyone we both know.
FRI 15 NOV 2019- Went to a conference at Station Square. Lots of magnetic resonance studies, as well as case studies. Now, there is even a pill with a chip embedded in it, which can track oral medication compliance.
Watched James Holzhauer (this time) defeat Emma Boettcher to win the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions. Handily.
SAT 16 NOV 2019- Mellow day.
SUN 17 NOV 2019- M and I watched the televised Mass from the Cathedral. Saw "the back of Lolo's head," as the n and n's call it, when they visit.
Picked up sandwiches for lunch in Shadyside---2 out of the 5 were missing! I went back for them; 3 were supplied, thanks to the manager on duty.
MON 18 NOV 2019- Water exercise classes (1.5). Submitted questions for the WED session about the building.
TUE 19 NOV 2019- Museum training for most of the morning. Thought there was a physical therapy appointment, but TD had a family emergency. Headed home.
WED 20 NOV 2019- Bible Study of the readings of the Solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the Universe (Cosmos).

Evening building session about the budget. Asked ~4-5 questions during the meeting.
THU 21 NOV 2019- Awareness that today is World Pancreatic Cancer Day. Color is purple Choir practice, one of my all-time favorite Solemnities, Christ the King!
FRI 22 NOV 2019- Water exercise class, worked to glaze and re-glaze some pieces.
SAT 23 NOV 2019- Hyalite Opal Spotlight. Had visitors (70:2h) as far as Michigan, and told interested parties about membership. Ooop! Took the pointer and spotlight home, so I...
SUN 24 NOV 2019- Had to leave the museum materials at the Portal entry this morning for the lead Interpreter.
Lectored (2) at noon Mass, with Carole Di..(1). Shane cantored, Lucas, Luke, Eleanor , and Ted W (Sacristan) served. Fr Mike from the Oratory celebrated Mass.

Enjoyed the company of J and CV for dinner, who regaled us with stories of their Marian pilgrimage.
MON 25 NOV 2019- Went for 1.5 water exercise classes, C shared her stories of Mister Rogers. Thawed some desserts for 3 imminent guests. Had a 25-minute ocular migraine over lunch with D and M.
TUE 26 NOV 2019- Physical therapy before mid-morning. Lunch with D and M. Went grocery shopping at Big Bird's palenke and in Shadyside/Friendship for my last few purchases for Thanksgiving! Dinner chez D and M. K and k to arrive tomorrow morning.
WED 27 NOV 2019- Tnshia w Mrcl stopped by. K and k arrived for Thanksgiving. They whisked me to WA and MM's, whom we picked up on the way to visit JMcS and BMc. She is doing pretty good; her spirits are up...after all, it IS J we are talking about! She made certain that she shared her Mexican Stuffing recipe with all of us. K and k ended up staying chez D and M, for ease of food prep.
THU 28 NOV 2019- Happy Thanksgiving! My donation toward the 10-person dinner will be:
Helped with the peeling of Fresh eggs for the preparation of deviled eggs! Watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, too. Helped K load the food which I contributed into the car....and the World Book Cycle Learner for WA's family. This morning, I made a trip to the drugstore for a bunch of disposable masks for M, for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving was celebrated at WA's family's home.
FRI 29 NOV 2019- Post-Thanksgving water exercise classes (2), led by Mary Beth. A vacation from art classes.
SAT 30 NOV 2019- Beautiful noon Mass celebrated by Fr Kris Stubna, for our friends the Wassermanns. Lovely lunch in which we were seated at a table of mostly neighbors. Later in the afternoon D and I went to McKnight Road for shopping for Anti-virus programs, new communications equipment, "window shopping" for tsinelas, and picked up dinner for us and M.
