Off to work...Predawn

I'm off to work in the predawn this morning. I invited my students to get a jump on the experiment by showing up early, which means I have to be there earlier to prep.

It's going to be warm today, and
It was in the high 70's yesterday.

Jo-Anne, Stacy, and Jennifer H. and I enjoyed lunch at Lulu's yesterday after singing in choir. I saw many of my C & L friends in the narthex after Mass, and invited them to join us. They inquired about my attempt to remedy fallen fencing around a construction site, so I explained the action taken. I'm also curious as to how another incident (at work) was resolved after I called it in late Friday afternoon.

Communion and Liberation

I attended another meeting of Communion and Liberation this week. Joe, Marie, Mike, and Fred and I engaged in enlightening conversation about Luigi Guissani's book, The Journey to Truth is an Experience. Afterwards, we went out for snacks and drinks and discussed varied topics, including parishes for Lenten fish fries. This is apparently a Pittsburgh phenomenon, in which even non-Church-goers seek out fish fries all over Allegheny County.

WIlliam and I attended a fish fry last Friday at Sacred Heart Church; he had the fish, I had the shrimp. We both were pleased with how our meals tasted.
