Saint John Neumann, thoughts
I had never seen a saint in repose until this week....
Saint John Neumann appears just to be sleeping, as if waiting for the second coming of Christ.
Seeing a saint in repose is cool, somewhat creepy, beautiful, overwhelming, holy, and amazing all at once.

St. John Neumann
This morning I attended the Mass at the Shrine of St. John Neumann. I have never before seen a saint in repose, and it is a truly beautiful sight to see. St. John Neumann is the first male American saint, beatified primarily for his founding of the Catholic school system in the United States. I spoke with a Filipina and her group from Jacksonville after Mass, and we visited the Neumann museum also.
Before Mass started I walked about the building and sat and prayed the Novenae for Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. John Neumann, which were in the pews.
